Resources: Trauma

Suffering is all around us in this fallen world but, for some the suffering endured is extreme. Abuse, assault, serious accidents, war or some illnesses are just a few of the contexts where trauma may occur.

For those who have experienced trauma, the impact can be life-altering – body and heart can be shattered and daily living become desperately hard. How important then for churches to approach those who are suffering from the effects of trauma with particular nuance and care. In these resources we offer some initial thoughts on how to love our brothers and sisters well.
