A 10-week course that lays the foundations for conversational ministry
Your conversations with others are determined by how you understand God, yourself, other people, life’s pressures, and the process of change.
Dynamics of Biblical Change addresses these things and more. It describes how Christ’s past grace, present grace, and future grace speak to our hearts and change the way we live our daily lives.
Through Scripture, online lectures, assigned readings and life examples, you’ll explore these very practical ministry questions. Two personal-change projects are key to applying the principles of the course personally.

FAQs
What's the time commitment?
Students have a fortnight to complete the material from each “week” of the 10-week course.
The time commitment varies from student to student, but we estimate a minimum of 8-10 hours per “week” of the course.
How much does it cost?
DBC 6 months costs £475. It’s cheaper than our other courses, because it does not include the fortnightly seminars that are a requirement of the Certificate Programme.
DBC 6 months has two optional online seminars with a BCUK Tutor.
Are any other courses offered in the 6 month format?
Yes. Helping Relationships and Church Pastoral Care are offered in the “half-speed” format. More information ↗
Do I need to have a formal responsibility in my local church to study?
We welcome anyone who wants to be better able to get alongside and care for others in their local church. Often they will be those with a formal role, but many who study with us would describe themselves as “ordinary” church members.
