Thursday 12 November
Christ Church Cambridge

Introduction

God deals personally with us by bringing us into relationship with himself through Christ.

What will it mean for our lives and ministry to reflect the character of this personal God? How will we relate differently, pray differently and preach differently because we know that God has met us personally in Christ? Join us for a day conference with Ed Welch (Faculty member at CCEF) and Steve Midgley (Executive Director of Biblical Counselling UK).

The day will be particularly suitable for all those in church leadership teams (in various paid or unpaid roles – men and women).

Ed Welch

Ed is a faculty member and counselor at CCEF, where he has served since 1981. He holds a doctor of philosophy in counseling (neuropsychology) from the University of Utah and a master of divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary. He has written numerous books, including 'When People Are Big and God Is Small' (P&R Publishing, 1997).

Steve Midgley

He is on the boards of both CCEF and the Biblical Counseling Coalition. Formerly the vicar of Christ Church Cambridge, Steve continues to serve the church family there.
